Tech Risk and Controls Lead, Global Payments

What you'll do

• Identify, assess, communicate, and help resolve technology risks, including root-cause analysis.
• Govern and monitor controls, policies, issues, and measurements; recommend enhancements and report on control effectiveness.
• Partner with stakeholders and use enterprise-authorized AI to support risk evidence synthesis, reporting, and recurring controls workflows, with human validation.

What they ask for

• At least 7 years of experience or equivalent expertise in technology risk management, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust suitability designation.
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI for technology risk and controls workflows, with validation and data-sensitivity awareness.
• Knowledge of risk frameworks, industry standards, financial regulatory requirements, data security, risk assessment and reporting, control evaluation, design, and governance.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting internal audit or regulatory exams; building executive-ready risk reporting and metrics.
• Knowledge or experience with PCI DSS; certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or CCSP.

Pay

Chicago,IL $123,500.00-$175,000.00 USD base salary
