What you'll do
- Manage software licensing, contracts, inventory, records, and compliance reporting; conduct audits and address license gaps.
- Coordinate renewals and negotiations, partnering with product owners and internal teams to optimize usage and control costs.
- Collaborate with Software Discovery to improve detection of software usage and deliver publisher-facing licensing outcomes.
What they ask for
- 7+ years managing software assets across on-prem, SaaS, and/or public cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of software license metrics, contracts, and Software Asset Management (SAM), including experience interpreting and operationalizing agreements.
- Experience with SAM tools such as USU/Aspera, Flexera, SNOW, or SamPro.
- Familiarity with software discovery tools and/or inventory/CMDB systems; experience with license harvesting and/or large-scale end-user surveys.
Nice to have
- Software Asset Management certification from a recognized training provider.
- Strong analytical skills in Excel.
