Vice President Lead Java Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Provide technical direction, develop and review production code, and influence product design and technical operations.
• Build and modernize cloud-native services and reliable messaging or event-streaming integrations.
• Lead adoption of approved AI-assisted development practices, setting validation standards for correctness, performance, security, and responsible use.

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Advanced Java proficiency and practical Spring Boot (or equivalent Java frameworks) experience.
• Hands-on experience with production system design, development, testing, operational stability, cloud-native services, and messaging or event-streaming integrations.
• Experience leading enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development and coaching on responsible, secure use.

Nice to have

• Reactive programming experience (e.g., Reactor) and event-driven or messaging and streaming familiarity.
• Financial services, wealth, or alternatives domain experience.

Pay

$156,750.00-$215,000.00 USD base salary
