Vice President - Lead Site Reliability Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, build, and operate scalable backup, recovery, and immutable-data protection services, including automation and APIs.
• Apply SRE practices, observability, incident learning, security controls, and reporting to improve operational resilience and compliance.
• Lead cross-team delivery, mentor engineers, and use authorized AI capabilities to support infrastructure analysis and documentation.

What they ask for

• Formal training or certification in SRE concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Experience building distributed systems, platform services, APIs, automation frameworks, and cloud-native applications; expertise in SRE, monitoring, telemetry, incident management, and operational readiness.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise data protection, backup and recovery, cyber resilience, immutable storage, retention policies, and recovery testing; advanced AWS experience.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one of Java, Go, or C#; demonstrated use and validation of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cohesity, Commvault, or AWS Backup; familiarity with Kubernetes or OpenShift in production.
• Exposure to database platforms, cyber-recovery solutions, or operational analytics in regulated financial services.
