About the job
Leads NSA Type-1 cryptographic certification and accreditation for K2 Space’s spacecraft and ground systems, from requirements through operational approval, and establishes scalable COMSEC processes for fleet operations.
What you'll do
- Serve as the primary interface with NSA, certification authorities, and government customers; manage certification plans, schedules, artifacts, test evidence, and documentation.
- Translate security requirements into engineering tasks and achieve and maintain approval to operate across spacecraft and ground systems.
- Establish COMSEC handling, accounting, key management, and on-orbit procedures; address supply-chain compliance risks and develop repeatable certification processes.

- Direct experience taking a system through NSA Type-1 certification and accreditation to operational use.

Nice to have
- Experience certifying spacecraft, satellite, or other space-system cryptographic integrations.

Pay
$140,000 - $200,000 USD base salary
