About the job
Leads the manufacturing setup and production ramp for K2 Space’s first Pumped Fluid Loop, from prototype and tooling through production-ready processes.
What you'll do
- Establish the work center and develop manufacturing plans, build flows, tooling, and production processes for the Pumped Fluid Loop.
- Lead design-for-manufacturing efforts and collaborate with engineers and technicians on nonconformances and corrective actions.
- Develop capacity models and production ramp strategies; serve as the manufacturing contact for system fill, proof, and leak testing.

- Experience with production processes and workflows, CAD software/models, component and assembly qualification testing, and fluid system assembly.
- Knowledge of leak testing; clean-room and ESD-sensitive equipment experience; experience creating GSE, tooling, or fixtures.
Nice to have
- Test or automation experience; proficiency in Python and/or Rust.
- Experience with functional testing of fluid components such as pumps and accumulators.
