What you'll do

  • Own manufacturing strategy, design-for-manufacturability efforts, and scalable production flows for spacecraft assemblies.
  • Develop tooling, automation, capacity models, production-readiness plans, and rate-ramp strategies.
  • Lead first-article builds and flight-hardware integration, resolve cross-functional issues, and mentor engineers and technicians.

What they ask for

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, aerospace, or another relevant engineering discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in a high-volume, rapid-production environment in manufacturing, integration, and/or design engineering.
  • Demonstrated results in product development and/or process improvements.
  • Experience leading first-article builds, transitioning prototypes into repeatable production, and setting up and scaling production lines.

Nice to have

  • Experience designing tooling for mechanical subassemblies and electronics; leadership of small engineering teams or technical ownership of major subsystems.
  • Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing standards, CAD software (NX or equivalent), GD&T, or MES.
