About the job
Supports the fabrication, assembly, alignment, testing, and documentation of optical subsystems and production tooling for K2 satellite programs.
What you'll do
- Assemble, align, integrate, inspect, clean, bond, and troubleshoot optical components and systems.
- Set up and execute validation tests, report traceable performance data, and maintain ground support equipment and calibration.
- Operate precision tooling and uphold laser safety, cleanliness, and workspace standards.

- 5+ years of experience assembling, integrating, and testing optical hardware or adjacent hardware.
- Proficiency with computers, MS Office, and shop floor management software.
- Experience with FOD- and ESD-sensitive hardware and clean room requirements.
