About the job
Leads the clean-sheet manufacturing effort for K2 Space’s first Pumped Fluid Loop, developing its work center, processes, tooling, and production transition.
What you'll do
- Set up the work center for manufacturing, assembling, and testing the Pumped Fluid Loop.
- Lead design-for-manufacturability efforts and develop manufacturing plans, build flows, tooling, and automation.
- Support nonconformance disposition, fluid-system fill/proof/leak activities, and production capacity and rate-ramp planning.

- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
- Experience with production processes and workflows, CAD, component and assembly qualification testing, and fluid-system assembly.
- Knowledge of leak testing; clean-room and ESD-sensitive equipment experience; and experience creating manufacturing GSE, tooling, or fixtures.
Nice to have
- Test or automation experience; proficiency in Python and/or Rust.
- Experience with functional testing of fluid components such as pumps and accumulators.

USD $140,000 - $175,000 base salary
