About the job

Designs and integrates high-performance RF and millimeter-wave integrated circuits for satellite communications, from architecture through characterization and product integration.

What you'll do

  • Design PAs, LNAs, and RF switches in GaAs and GaN technologies; own designs through layout, simulation, tapeout, and characterization.
  • Optimize circuits, conduct RF and electromagnetic simulations, and correlate measured results with simulations to improve designs.
  • Develop test plans and work with RF systems, antenna, packaging, and transceiver IC teams on interfaces and system integration.

What they ask for

  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience designing RF/millimeter-wave MMICs in GaAs and/or GaN technologies.
  • Design experience with PAs, LNAs, and/or RF switches, with deep expertise in at least one area.
  • Experience with Cadence, Keysight ADS, EM simulation tools, or equivalent RF/MMIC environments; hands-on RF/mmWave characterization and experience taking designs through tapeout and measured hardware validation.

Nice to have

  • Experience with wideband RF/mmWave design, high-performance PAs, or Ka-band and higher frequencies.
  • Familiarity with MMIC packaging, RF module integration, thermal considerations, antenna/array interfaces, or high-reliability applications.

Pay

$170,000 – $250,000 USD base salary
