About the job
Own the design, verification, testing, and production transition of active and passive spacecraft thermal control systems.
What you'll do
- Design thermal control systems and size fluid-system components; develop heater and cooling systems and their control architecture.
- Plan and execute thermal-cycle and thermal-vacuum test campaigns; set up and maintain test stands, instrumentation, and data acquisition.
- Analyze and present test data, troubleshoot hardware and test setups, and produce development and production documentation.
What they ask for
- 5+ years of thermal test experience in a high-rate manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years of experience sizing and testing fluid systems, including pumps, valves, accumulators, heat exchangers, and cold plates.
- Demonstrated experience with data acquisition for thermal and power-related applications.
- Experience developing and executing test plans; strong thermal and TVAC testing experience, including setup, instrumentation, and troubleshooting.
Nice to have
- NX or AutoCAD for designing test fixtures.
- Experience with basic and statistical data analysis, Thermal Desktop, signal conditioning, pump testing, avionics testing, or refrigeration-system testing.
Pay
USD 140,000 - USD 250,000 base salary
