Engineering Manager, Marketing Engineering & AI Agents - Amplify

What you'll do

• Set technical direction and lead teams responsible for klaviyo.com, Klaviyo Academy, the Help Center, and supporting content systems.
• Drive the roadmap for AI agents that automate content generation, translation, campaign briefs, and asset production, with quality measures and appropriate human review.
• Own platform reliability, performance, security, on-call, and incident response while partnering with Marketing and other teams.

What they ask for

• BA or BS in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on software development building and operating high-traffic web products at scale, including 4+ years as an engineering manager.
• Shipped production LLM-powered agents or workflows that replaced manual work, with measured outcomes; experience with agent reliability and quality practices.
• Led engineering for a high-traffic marketing website using a modern front end such as TypeScript and React; owned performance, SEO, conversion paths, analytics and tagging, and launch reliability.

Nice to have

• Internationalization and localization at scale, particularly AI-driven translation tools such as Smartling.
• Experience with headless CMSs such as Sanity or Contentful; experimentation, personalization, or tools including Astro, Cloudflare Workers, Figma automation, Bynder, or HubSpot.

$176,000 — $264,000 USD base salary
