About the job

What you'll do

  • Set direction for a core product area, from architecture through production, and contribute to platform direction.
  • Build, evaluate, and improve agent orchestration, guardrails, memory and context, and failure handling; ship code and debug production issues.
  • Establish reusable engineering patterns, mentor through design reviews, and partner with product, design, data science, and go-to-market teams.

What they ask for

  • Built, scaled, and supported production agentic systems through launch and ongoing operations, including orchestration, evaluations, guardrails, and non-deterministic failure handling.
  • Experience securing production agents against misuse and abuse and maintaining reliability as usage grows.
  • Owned technical and product direction for a significant area, with a shipped design adopted by other engineers.
  • Hands-on engineering experience, including coding, architecture reviews, and debugging production issues; able to communicate trade-offs and turn ambiguous problems into plans.

Nice to have

  • Experience with a production-scale multi-tenant agent platform or building 0-to-1 products / working in startups.
  • Track record with production evaluation systems, AI observability, or human-in-the-loop workflows for LLM-powered products.
