Designs and operates software-defined networking systems, services, and automation for Lambda’s multi-tenant cloud network across data centers and cloud environments.
What you'll do
- Build and scale cloud-network software, SDN services, control-plane software, and network configuration and deployment automation.
- Improve network reliability and performance through monitoring, observability, failover, and redundancy.
- Participate in on-call and incident response; build supporting tools and automation.
What they ask for
- Production-scale SDN design and implementation experience, including SDN platforms such as OpenStack Neutron, OVN, or similar frameworks.
- Deep understanding of the Linux networking stack and networking concepts; proficiency with the Linux command line.
- Experience with multi-data-center and hybrid-cloud networking, CI/CD, automated testing and deployment, Git/GitOps, and Kubernetes operations.
- 5+ years of software development experience in C, Go, or Python.
Nice to have
