Coordinates material purchasing, inventory planning, supplier issues, and production supply to meet customer needs while controlling cost and excess inventory.
What you'll do
- Coordinate purchasing and material plans with manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers; manage inventory levels, rescheduling, and product phase-in/phase-out plans.
- Review delivery, supplier, freight, and inventory performance; resolve planning errors and supplier quality issues, and establish corrective measures.
- Track inventory transactions, shipment accuracy, cycle-count discrepancies, budgets, and team targets.
