Associate Director / Director, Customer Program Management, Physical Sciences

What you'll do

• Own customer relationships, communicate program status and risks, and identify renewal and expansion opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage delivery across concurrent projects, including timelines, resources, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
• Build scalable delivery processes, tools, operating models, and success metrics for the new function.

What they ask for

• Graduate degree (MS, PhD, or equivalent experience) in a physical science or technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in a technical or scientific industry, including 5+ years in program management, delivery, or a similar cross-functional coordination role with direct responsibility for timelines, resourcing, and tracking.
• Demonstrated experience as the primary customer-facing owner of a relationship.
• Track record driving execution across complex multidisciplinary programs; ability to communicate complex information and align cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience at or partnering with AI-native, platform-based, or technically sophisticated science or technology companies; familiarity with R&D workflows or external collaborations.
• Familiarity with project management methods and tools, or experience with LLMs and a point of view on AI and automation in technical work.

Pay

$148,000 — $224,000 USD (base salary)
