Owns end-to-end mechanical design and integration of custom mobile manipulators combining robot arms with AMR/AGV platforms, from concept iterations and CAD through simulation preparation and physical build support.
What you'll do
- Design and iterate mounting, structural, and integration options for robot arms on AMR/AGV bases, including cable and connector routing.
- Create CAD models and analyze mass, center of gravity, and payload against manufacturer specifications; prepare simulation-ready geometry and specifications.
- Document design decisions and assembly procedures, and support physical build and integration.
