Leads a hands-on team that evaluates, integrates, and benchmarks robotics platforms to produce comparable results and inform platform decisions.
What you'll do
- Lead and mentor 2 to 3 engineers; set the evaluation roadmap and maintain shared methods and tooling.
- Commission and integrate robotics platforms with the software stack, then run tests across navigation, manipulation, perception, and controls.
- Validate platforms in simulation and communicate findings, tradeoffs, and recommendations to stakeholders.

- Direct experience with AMRs/AGVs, 6 to 7 DoF arms, grippers, and camera or lidar perception pipelines including calibration; experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim or an equivalent simulation platform.
Nice to have
- Evaluated or compared multiple robotics platforms or vendors head to head; experience with mobile manipulators.
- Built internal tooling or frameworks for standardized robot testing; background in industrial, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing automation.

$136,800 — $217,866 USD (base salary)
