Own LiveKit’s revenue accounting and order-to-cash processes, including technical policy, monthly close, audit, billing reconciliation, and collections.
What you'll do
- Develop revenue accounting policies under ASC 606 and document positions for external audit.
- Manage monthly revenue close, revenue audit work, and commission capitalization and amortization under ASC 340-40.
- Improve order-to-cash controls, including billing-to-revenue reconciliation, billing accuracy, disputes, and collections.
What they ask for
- Licensed CPA with a Big 4 or comparable technical accounting foundation and high-growth startup industry experience.
- Demonstrable ASC 606 experience with usage-based or consumption revenue.
- Experience assessing and implementing GAAP guidance; able to write clear technical memos.
- Hands-on ownership of monthly revenue close and revenue through at least one external audit.
Nice to have
- Billing system implementation or migration experience; Metronome, Stripe, or Zuora.
- Pre-IPO or first-audit experience; enough SQL to validate recognition schedules against raw usage data.
