About the job
Improve the security posture of LiveKit’s production infrastructure by identifying and remediating risks, building secure infrastructure guardrails, and supporting compliance controls.
What you'll do
- Document the security baseline for cloud and production infrastructure, prioritize security gaps, and drive remediation.
- Harden identity, secrets, network boundaries, tenant isolation, and media and recording storage.
- Build secure defaults into infrastructure as code and automate technical evidence for PCI-DSS and ISO 27001 audits.
What they ask for
- Hands-on experience securing a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP or Azure) and containerized workloads including Kubernetes.
- Track record of owning infrastructure security for a production platform.
- Fluency with infrastructure as code such as Terraform, plus strong scripting and automation skills in Go or Python.
- Ability to assess risk in business terms and explain remediation urgency.
Nice to have
- Experience with real-time media, networking or WebRTC systems.
- Experience in AI security, incident response, application security, or supporting compliance audits.
