Own and shape Loft Orbital’s offering-level architecture across space, ground, software, and hardware, aligning capabilities, interfaces, and requirements across teams.
What you'll do
- Define overall offering architecture and support capability allocation across hardware, software, ground, flight, and external components.
- Shape the ground processing chain, customer-facing tools, and interactions among onboard, customer, third-party, and Loft software.
- Coordinate architecture decisions and alignment across teams; maintain requirements and interfaces and contribute technical documentation and reviews.

- Experience at the boundary of architecture definition, requirements structuring, and engineering implementation.
- Ability to structure systems into capabilities, interfaces, requirements, and responsibilities; strong understanding of software-heavy systems, including distributed components, APIs, processing chains, and integration patterns.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional technical work without direct authority, communicate and document clearly, and apply sound engineering judgment.
Nice to have
- Experience with space systems, including ground segment tooling, onboard software, or customer-facing technical platforms.

Pay
USD 180,000–230,000 per-year-salary (base salary)
