Delivers and, when needed, installs merchandise while preparing safe, accurate loads and providing customer service.
What you'll do
- Plan delivery routes and schedules; pull, load, secure, and deliver merchandise in accordance with payload limits and DOT requirements.
- Unload, install, and test appliances, and update delivery status and vehicle inspection records.
- Assist customers with merchandise and delivery questions while maintaining safe, clean work areas.
What they ask for
- Class A CDL, or Class B CDL with air brake endorsement where specified for single-unit CMVs.
- Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment; ability to pass the MVR screen.
- Must be at least 21 and able to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic; ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law.
Nice to have
- 1 year driving a semi-truck/trailer or certification from a driving school.
