About the job
Helps customers in the Building Materials department find and select products, handles merchandise, and supports store operations and customer service.
What you'll do
- Welcome customers, answer questions, and help them locate, select, and handle merchandise.
- Replenish shelves, process orders and deliveries, and prepare merchandise for customer needs.
- Guide customers through shopping or checkout and cross-train in other store areas.
What they ask for
- At least 6 months of experience using a computer to input, access, modify, or output information.
- At least 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills; able to perform duties that may involve prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities.
- Able to lift at least 25 lbs unassisted, or over 25 lbs with or without an accommodation.
Nice to have
