Full Time - Sales Specialist - Millwork - Day

What you'll do

• Consult with customers, explain product features and services, and help close sales.
• Provide project estimates, arrange installer visits, process and track orders or installations, and follow up.
• Support inventory, pricing, checkout, and associate training in the department.

What they ask for

• High school diploma or GED; if not met, the posting gives an alternative experience pathway.
• Customer-facing sales experience: 1 year, or 6 months of Lowe’s retail experience; if the education requirement is not met, 3 years of external customer-facing sales or 18 months of Lowe’s retail experience.
• 1 year of sales or customer-service experience in a sales environment with sales goals or metrics.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills; able to stand and sit for prolonged periods and lift at least 25 pounds as described.

Nice to have

• 1 year completing customer sales orders or promoting related services and plans.
• 2 years designing customized products using 20/20 or Computer-Aided Design System; department-related certification or bilingual skills are also preferred.
