Maintains distribution-center equipment by independently diagnosing and repairing complex issues in at least two specialty areas while supporting safety and mentoring other team members.
What you'll do
- Diagnose, plan, and perform equipment repairs and preventive maintenance, including safety precautions and lock-out/tag-out.
- Mentor and train less experienced mechanics and utility team members; coordinate work as needed.
- Document equipment condition, repairs, and parts used in the computerized maintenance management system.
What they ask for
- Valid state driver's license and a proven record of following safety requirements.
- Four years of maintenance experience and two years of experience in each of two specialty areas.
- Experience repairing and providing technical training on electrical/electronic systems at 51–599 volts and above.
- Able to lift 25 pounds and up to 70 pounds, and work safely with corrosive materials and at heights of 20+ feet; required local certifications where applicable.
Nice to have
- Welding and fabrication experience and/or certification; experience operating maintenance or operations vehicles and equipment.
