Leads and supports the Outside Garden and Lawn team to deliver customer service, meet sales goals, maintain the department, and follow store safety practices.
What you'll do
- Coach, train, delegate tasks to, and manage the performance and coverage of associates; communicate sales and service practices and store concerns to leadership.
- Support customer-facing sales and non-customer-facing work, including down stocking, inventory management, merchandising input, and area recovery.
- Monitor safe use of power equipment, conduct safety walks, and supervise associates across departments as needed; may occasionally open or close the store or serve as manager-on-duty.
