About the job

What you'll do

  • Develop and operate systems that process high volumes of identity data with correctness, freshness, and operational rigor.
  • Help shape data infrastructure for engineering, product, and AI teams.
  • Establish SLOs, observability, and operational tooling; promote scalable, reliable, and secure engineering practices.

What they ask for

  • 1+ years of professional backend or platform engineering experience building production systems other teams depend on.
  • Backend experience building REST or gRPC APIs and services with relational databases, and evolving schemas on live tables.
  • Understanding of data correctness practices, including idempotency, ordering, retries, permanent failures, and dead-letter handling.
  • Experience deploying containerized services to AWS, GCP, or Azure; debugging with metrics, traces, and logs; and participating in an on-call rotation.
