Designs, integrates, and tests mechanical avionics hardware for defense platforms, from initial architecture through environmental testing and flight qualification.
What you'll do
- Design avionics and PCBA mounts, enclosures, harness accommodation, connector interfaces, and related hardware; create CAD designs and engineering releases.
- Collaborate with electrical and cross-functional teams on system architecture, ECAD/MCAD data exchange, integration, and ICD documentation.
- Develop and execute environmental qualification tests, fixtures, tooling, test plans, and technical documentation.

- Experience with 3D CAD tools such as NX or SolidWorks and detailed drawings with GD&T per ASME Y14.5.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; hands-on ownership of end-to-end hardware development and integration.
Nice to have

- Knowledge of electronics thermal management, PCBA structural response/FEA, wire harness design and release, or aerospace/defense avionics standards.

USD 140,000—180,000 base salary
