About the job

Owns aeroelastic and structural-dynamics analysis and testing for unmanned aircraft, correlating models with test results to support design validation and flight clearance.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain structural-dynamic and aeroelastic models; perform modal, flutter, static aeroelastic, and loads analyses.
  • Plan and conduct structural, modal, ground-vibration, wind-tunnel, and flight-flutter tests, including instrumentation and real-time safety monitoring.
  • Correlate test measurements with analytical predictions and prepare airworthiness, certification, and customer documentation.

What they ask for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform and interpret structural-dynamic and aeroelastic analyses, including normal modes, flutter, and aeroelastic loads.
  • Experience planning, executing, and documenting structural or modal test programs, and correlating test results with finite-element models.
  • Proficiency with finite-element analysis tools (MSC Nastran or equivalent) and engineering scripting in MATLAB or Python.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with emphasis in structural dynamics, aeroelasticity, or flight sciences.
  • Experience with GFEMs, flight-envelope clearance, vibration or wind-tunnel testing, aeroservoelasticity, or relevant analysis and test tools.

Pay

USD 115,000–USD 150,000 base salary (Engineer); USD 155,000–USD 195,000 base salary (Senior Engineer)
