Operates mobile heavy equipment to support mine production, maintain safe working conditions, and meet production targets while following safety and regulatory procedures.
What you'll do
- Operate loaders, bulldozers, excavators, graders, water trucks, and blasthole drill rigs across mine areas.
- Inspect and document equipment condition, report issues, and assist maintenance personnel with troubleshooting and basic servicing.
- Follow safety and environmental procedures, report hazards, and communicate with supervisors and crew members.
What they ask for
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to learn and apply federal, state, local, and company safety and environmental regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; willingness to perform manual labor and train on additional equipment and roles.
