About the job
Operate copper recycling equipment and process incoming scrap safely and to quality standards, from material intake through hydrometallurgical processing.
What you'll do
- Operate copper shredding, sorting, baling, and hydrometallurgical equipment; inspect, grade, and remove contaminants from scrap.
- Follow safety procedures, record production and equipment data, and perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Operate and program CNC equipment and collaborate with engineering on process improvements.
