About the job

Own and develop the cloud and edge infrastructure platform that supports Mariana Minerals’ engineering, mining, and mineral-processing operations.

What you'll do

  • Manage Kubernetes clusters and GitOps delivery across AWS and on-premises sites, including upgrades, scaling, ingress, and DNS.
  • Build self-service infrastructure and default observability so engineers can deploy and operate services independently.
  • Own cloud costs, identity and secrets management, incident response, and infrastructure for ML and data workloads.

What they ask for

  • 8-12+ years building and operating production infrastructure, with hands-on Kubernetes cluster operation, upgrades, and debugging.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Pulumi, Terraform, or similar) and GitOps-style continuous delivery.
  • Track record building platforms adopted by other engineers; practical observability experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and a log aggregation stack.
  • Fluency in Python or TypeScript and enough AWS familiarity to make cost and architecture tradeoffs.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting ML or data-intensive workloads, such as GPU scheduling, distributed training, or pipeline orchestration.
  • Experience with on-premise or edge infrastructure, industrial networks, or constrained-connectivity environments.
