About the job

Build and validate autonomy and sensor-integration software that enables mining vehicles to perceive, plan, and drive autonomously.

What you'll do

  • Develop autonomy software for perception, SLAM, motion planning, or control; integrate and calibrate sensors and implement sensor fusion.
  • Build embedded, real-time software and simulation, logging, and data pipelines to test autonomy performance and safety.
  • Lead bench, rig, and field validation, debugging across software and hardware, and collaborate on vehicle integration.

What they ask for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ and/or Python and a robotics middleware such as ROS/ROS 2.
  • Hands-on experience integrating and fusing sensors (LiDAR, cameras, radar, IMU, GNSS) and using perception, localization, or motion-planning algorithms.
  • Working knowledge of real-time and embedded systems, controls, and software-hardware integration for actuation.

Nice to have

  • Experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, automotive, or off-highway equipment.
