6+ years in corporate or enterprise security or detection and response.

About the job

Own and strengthen Material Security’s corporate security program, including detection and incident response, LLM-driven triage, endpoint and identity controls, and translating findings into product detection improvements.

What you'll do

  • Own corporate telemetry, detection content, incident response, and playbooks; improve coverage and reduce alert noise.
  • Build and evaluate an LLM-based agent to triage privileged access, customer data access, and high-fidelity alerts, with explicit limits on automated action.
  • Improve endpoint, identity, SaaS, Google Workspace, and corporate-to-production security controls, partnering with CorpSec, AppSec, and Engineering.

What they ask for

  • 6+ years in corporate or enterprise security or detection and response, with hands-on ownership of a SIEM, detection content, and incident response.
  • Comfortable using Python, Go, or TypeScript against vendor APIs and automating enforcement.
  • Deep understanding of OAuth, SAML/OIDC, session and token lifecycle, and identity paths to cloud IAM.
  • Experience managing a Mac fleet with modern MDM and EDR, plus building or seriously experimenting with LLM-driven workflows and evaluation.

Nice to have

  • Contributed detection logic or security features to a product codebase and can work within engineering review and release processes.
  • Written a technical paper, spoken at a technical conference, or maintained open-source security tooling.
