Own and improve the reliability, security, performance, and scalability of production database platforms, while engineering automation and supporting database modernization across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
What you'll do
- Operate and continuously improve production databases, including monitoring, capacity planning, incident response, security, and recovery.
- Build automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, tooling, and CI/CD integrations to reduce operational work and enable self-service.
- Advise on architecture and modernization, partner across engineering and security teams, and mentor peers on reliability practices.
