About the job
Designs, validates, and supports manufacturing of critical circuit boards and electrical subsystems for Matic’s home-cleaning robot.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end design and manufacturing of critical PCBAs, including prototyping, component selection, schematic capture, layout, bring-up, debugging, and verification.
- Integrate electrical assemblies with mechanical and firmware systems, and develop specifications and accelerated product-life test plans.
- Work with contract manufacturers to support production of PCBAs and subassemblies.
What they ask for
- Technical degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of professional electrical design experience on a product, preferably a consumer product, shipped in high volume.
- ECAD experience with Altium Designer, Cadence, or equivalent; experience with component selection, schematic capture, and PCB layout.
- Experience with common digital protocols including I2C, SPI, USB, MIPI, and with verifying and validating electrical-system requirements.
Nice to have
- Exposure to regulatory certification processes.
- Supply chain management and PCBA contract manufacturing experience.
Pay
$120,000 - $200,000 per annum (base salary)
