Designs mechanical parts and sub-assemblies for a home robot, taking them from concept and prototyping through testing, supplier coordination, and high-volume production.
What you'll do
- Design parts and sub-assemblies, build and iterate prototypes, and carry designs through mass production.
- Test components and execute accelerated test plans to assess performance, durability, variability, and expected field behavior.
- Release production-ready drawings and work with vendors and contract manufacturers on DFM, tooling reviews, and first article inspection.
