About the job
Develop and maintain board-management firmware for MatX AI platforms, bringing hardware online, monitoring its health, and supporting production deployment.
What you'll do
- Build and extend board-management firmware using open-source firmware stacks; maintain embedded firmware on ARM microcontrollers.
- Implement platform features for sensor monitoring, power and thermal management, firmware updates, and hardware health reporting.
- Support board bring-up and debug hardware/firmware issues with lab equipment and low-level tools.
What they ask for

- Experience with real-time or bare-metal firmware, including interrupts, timing constraints, and tight memory budgets.
- Direct experience with embedded firmware in a hyperscaler/datacenter.

- Experience with Linux-based board-management-controller firmware and build systems.

Pay
USD $160,000 - $275,000 base salary; USD $175,000 - $400,000 base salary; USD $250,000 - $600,000 base salary
