About the job

Develop a model that estimates physically consistent full-body motion and contact from egocentric camera and sensor evidence, including body parts not visible to the cameras.

What you'll do

  • Train generative full-body motion models conditioned on partial egocentric evidence.
  • Build physics-based tracking or contact-aware optimization for physically consistent motion and per-frame contact estimates.
  • Define evaluation metrics and commission capture data; deliver a runnable prototype for production integration.

What they ask for

  • Research record in physics-based character animation, human motion generation, or 3D human pose and shape, with a PhD or equivalent body of work and publications at listed venues.
  • Experience training generative motion models on mocap-scale data and conditioning them on constraints.
  • Experience with physics-based motion imitation or tracking, simulation, and reinforcement learning at scale.
  • Experience with body models and kinematics, plus clean PyTorch research code.

Nice to have

  • Egocentric or partial-observation full-body estimation.
  • Human–scene interaction and contact, motion cleanup, reusable motion priors, or shipped research models.
