About the job
Leads research and model development to reconstruct manipulated objects from egocentric video and advance them toward physically simulatable 3D assets.
What you'll do
- Develop neural 3D reconstruction approaches robust to occlusion, low resolution, and deformable objects.
- Use generative refinement and hand-contact signals to improve partial reconstructions and constrain shape and pose.
- Build research prototypes and hand them off for product integration; publish where appropriate.
What they ask for
- Strong research background in 3D or neural reconstruction, such as neural 3D, 4D reconstruction, or generative 3D.
- Ability to design and train deep-learning models and read and reproduce frontier papers.
- Foundation in structure-from-motion or multi-view geometry, meshes, and differentiable rendering.
- Prototype in clean Python / PyTorch and apply research ideas to real data.
Nice to have
- Generative 3D, differentiable rendering, NeRF, Gaussian splatting, or 4D/dynamic-scene reconstruction.
- Physics simulation and rigging, hand-object interaction, or publications at top vision or graphics venues.
