Manager, Energy Analytics

What you'll do

• Lead, hire, and develop a geographically distributed energy analytics team; establish team structure, career pathways, and analytical standards.
• Own forecasting, rate analysis, and energy risk capabilities, including scenarios that measure price and volume volatility across markets.
• Scale energy data products, tooling, pipelines, controls, and reporting, and communicate findings to Infrastructure, Finance, and senior leadership.

What they ask for

• 8+ years of relevant work experience with an electric utility, financial institution, energy supplier, renewable energy project developer, or energy-intensive consumer.
• 4+ years of direct people management experience, including managing a team through growth and change.
• Hands-on experience analyzing energy usage, electric tariffs, and wholesale energy market data; ownership of forecasting or analytical models used in budgeting, capacity, or investment decisions.
• Experience building or materially scaling an analytical capability; advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets.

Nice to have

• Experience with energy or commodity risk quantification, Tableau or other data visualization software, SQL, Python, or data warehouses/backend databases.
• Experience with renewable energy procurement, PPAs, clean energy project analytics, large-scale infrastructure or data center growth, international energy markets, or distributed teams.

Pay

$197,000/year to $271,000/year base salary; bonus and equity amounts not specified
