Network Development Manager

What you'll do

• Manage telecommunications provider relationships, delivery schedules, issues, and performance against contractual milestones and SLAs.
• Evaluate fiber routes and capacity solutions; support contract negotiations and investment recommendations with financial analyses and business cases.
• Coordinate cross-functional project delivery, maintain accurate network data and reporting, and identify delivery risks and workflow improvements.

What they ask for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in network development, telecommunications, fiber optic infrastructure, or a related field.
• Experience managing telecommunications or infrastructure vendors/providers and knowledge of fiber concepts, including route design, IRU/lease structures, and delivery lifecycle.
• Strong financial modeling, ROI analysis, investment assessment, and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering hyperscale or carrier-grade long-haul and metro fiber projects, or developing OSP standards, vendor qualification frameworks, or procurement strategies.
• Experience applying responsible AI practices and integrating AI tools into workflows; data analytics or scripting experience such as SQL or Python.

Pay

$162,000/year to $227,000/year USD base salary
