Network Engineer, Foundation & Support

What you'll do

• Support data center construction and network deployments, including new sites, colocation builds, and retrofits.
• Develop infrastructure designs and coordinate with engineering, construction, software teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Build automation and tooling to improve network design, deployment, and operations; validate builds through site visits.

What they ask for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience designing and deploying large-scale data center network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of structured cabling and fiber infrastructure, data center construction and commissioning, and networking technologies including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and optical transport.
• 2+ years of programming experience in at least one language; demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools and implement responsible AI practices.

Nice to have

• Data center design or relevant telecommunications certifications.
• Experience with on-site construction teams, contractors and vendors, or data center facilities management systems.

Pay

$135,000/year to $191,000/year (base salary)
