Network Engineer, Optical Deployment

What you'll do

• Lead technical deployment planning, architecture, and execution for network projects.
• Design, deploy, migrate, troubleshoot, and support production network environments; contribute hands-on technical work and process improvements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors, execute network roadmaps, and mentor team members.

What they ask for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of Network Engineering, including hands-on responsibility for planning, building, deploying, or migrating production network environments; 3+ years in Optical Network Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise and carrier class routing, switching, and optical transport platforms; knowledge of data center design and operational best practices.
• Proficiency in automation (Python, Go, etc.) and network configuration management tooling; experience leading network deployment and migration projects.

Nice to have

• Experience with process improvement, systems development, and automation to streamline workflows.
• Experience in data center, edge, or large-scale network environments; demonstrated AI skill development and responsible use of AI tools.

Pay

$135,000/year to $191,000/year USD base salary
