Security Engineer

What you'll do

• Set security strategy and standards across organizational pillars; identify and address high-impact systemic risks.
• Lead threat modeling, architect security controls and guardrails, and drive scalable tooling and measurable risk reduction.
• Partner with senior leaders, mentor engineers, communicate security risks, and redesign security workflows using AI.

• Experience driving cross-company security engineering initiatives across distributed systems, access control, encryption, and intrusion detection.
• Experience with system design, threat modeling, risk assessment, and engineered security controls for complex environments.
• Experience integrating AI into security workflows and implementing responsible AI practices; applying threat intelligence; and communicating security decisions to varied audiences.

• Published security research, conference presentations, or open-source contributions influencing the external security community.

$271,000/year to $347,000/year USD base salary
