Software Engineer, Systems

What you'll do

• Set technical vision and architecture for runtime, container, and isolation systems; improve fleet-wide workload efficiency and reliability.
• Extend runtime and isolation capabilities for AI workloads and partner with kernel, scheduler, capacity, and hardware teams on fleet transitions.
• Lead design reviews and platform modernization, mentor engineers, and promote responsible, ethical AI practices.

What they ask for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of systems software engineering experience, including operating system interfaces, runtime environments, distributed infrastructure, or low-level platform services.
• Experience leading large-scale platform migrations or modernization in high-availability production environments.
• Experience with operating system internals and distributed systems consensus protocols, or highly available and fault-tolerant infrastructure.

Nice to have

• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to improve workflows and deliver measurable impact.
• Ongoing AI skill development, such as prompt/context engineering or agent orchestration.

Pay

$183,997/year to $257,000/year (base salary)
