About the job
Coordinates and oversees third-party BIM work for Micron’s high-tech construction projects, ensuring models, workflows, and signoffs meet project and facility requirements.
What you'll do
- Review and validate construction models, clash detection, metadata, LOD alignment, model management, naming, and model turnover requirements.
- Coordinate external BIM teams and contractor resources across projects; track BIM progress and signoffs.
- Provide Navisworks mentorship and training, and perform clash detection to support contract BIM staff.
What they ask for
- At least 5 years of experience in the BIM/VDC industry.
- Understanding of BIM/VDC workflows, Navisworks, Autodesk software, ACC, and industry standards.
- Familiarity with AEC project and organizational change workflows, including Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build projects, and Facilities Engineering teams.
- Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on safety and quality.
Nice to have
- Third-party BIM coordination experience in semiconductor, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, or data center facilities; or experience supervising BIM support staff.
