Principal Software Engineer - Hardware

What you'll do

• Lead the design and evolution of streaming and batch data systems, addressing scalability, reliability, performance, and data quality.
• Set technical strategy across teams, establish reusable architectures, and guide cross-organization design and investment decisions.
• Own critical capabilities from architecture through production operations and improvement; mentor engineers and raise engineering standards.

What they ask for

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR equivalent experience.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.

Nice to have

• Master's Degree and 8+ years of technical engineering experience, or Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with networking, Linux-based network operating systems, switch architecture and ASICs, test automation, or agile methodology; CCIE certification is a plus.

Pay

USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year (base salary); USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year (base salary)
