About the job
Own the methods, research roadmap, and verification tools that generate and validate manufacturable CAD across geometry representations and manufacturing processes.
What you'll do
- Develop CAD-generation methods across B-rep, implicit, and mesh representations, and integrate simulation feedback into geometry.
- Build pipelines for CAD and mesh analysis, manufacturability checks, repair, and geometry interchange and assemblies.
- Lead geometry research and set team standards for tolerances, performance, and correctness.
What they ask for
- 6+ years in computational geometry, CAD kernel, or geometry-processing development, with work to show.
- B-rep kernel depth, including kernel internals and underlying mathematics.
- Experience with implicit modeling and signed distance fields, mesh computational geometry, and finite-element analysis or equivalent physics-based verification.
- Python and C++, plus shipped production geometry software or published geometry research.
Nice to have
- Topology optimization and physics-driven generative design.
- Rust.
