Engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, or similar).

About the job

Build Mind Robotics’ supplier industrialization function and lead electronics and tactile-sensing components from supplier selection through qualification, launch, and production ramp.

What you'll do

  • Create the SI playbook, supplier-readiness criteria, and PPAP/qualification processes.
  • Own PCBA, electronic assembly, and tactile-sensing industrialization, including design reviews, supplier development, and NPI.
  • Scale supplier quality and production readiness through process validation, yield improvement, capacity planning, and corrective action.

What they ask for

  • Built or significantly shaped an SI, SQE, or NPI function.
  • 7+ years in supplier industrialization, supplier quality, NPI, or manufacturing engineering in a hardware-intensive industry.
  • Working knowledge of IPC standards and PCB fabrication; fluency in PPAP, APQP, pFMEA, control plans, SPC, MSA/Gage R&R, DOE, Cpk, and 8D/RCCA.
  • Hands-on prototype-to-production experience and an Engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, or similar); ability to read schematics, layouts, and drawings.

Nice to have

  • Experience with flex or rigid-flex circuits, sensor integration, tactile sensing, or high-mix sensor manufacturing.
  • Experience in humanoid or mobile robotics, Six Sigma/Lean certification, ASQ CQE or equivalent, or hiring and leading an SIE or SQE function.
